1959 Chrysler 300E
This E is an original unrestored car from California.
The E is being removed from the full body bag where it has been stored since 1994.
After 7 years in the bag, this car was just as fresh as the day it went in.
There were 550 coupes and 140 convertibles built.
110 coupes and 27 convertibles still exist.
1959 was the first year for the 413 wedge engine.
283 coupes were built in this color (ivory white). The standard colors for the E were: Formal Black, Turquoise Grey, Radiant Red, Cameo Tan, Ivory White, and Copper Spice. There were 138 coupes with AC and 25 with dual AC. There were 35 with the gasoline Instant Heater and 4 cars were heater delete. 242 had Suregrip. 421 had power windows. 223 had power antennas.
