With a scheduled build date of September 19, 1961, this car was one of the first 1962 Chryslers built. It has the optional 413 CID engine, power windows & seat, red leather interior, and tinted glass. Oddly, it has manual brakes and no windshield washers. Production of 300 Sport convertibles reached 1,971 units for 1962. |

The car arrived at Golden Lion Grrrages in 1995, still wearing California plates from 1968. |

This has been a ground-up restoration which continues today. The years in California were kind -- there was no rust anywhere. This photo shows the car after new paint. |

The original engine and transmission have been rebuilt. Power brakes have been added. A new wiring harness from Greg Leggatt has been installed. |

This is the original rear carpet, underside up. In the upper left corner you can barely see a small tag. |
