November, 2015: The transmission cooler lines are installed
with a new filter. Although I installed the header supports,
it is better if they are left off since
the supports interfere when the headers are installed.

I never have enough light.
This is a new battery powered LED light from Eastwood.
It is spring loaded to attach to the hood. It works well.

The engine is installed.
I had to put the driver side header in the engine bay before
the engine. If the header can be installed after the
engine is installed, I don't see how. Pictures below will show
how tight it fits to the steering box.
The passenger side header can be installed
after the engine is in; plenty of room to work.

Having the front sheet metal and radiator support removed
made the engine installation much easier. Very little elevation
and tilt was required.
Look how tight the driver side exhaust header is to the suspension mount.
Very tight at the steering box too.
The passenger side has much more clearance
and can be installed after the engine is in place.

The radiator support goes back in.
Might as well start in on the short rams.
It really doesn't take long with just a wire brush
on a drill to remove the old paint.
The power steering pump needs sprucing.
While it would be better to disassemble,
the wire brush treatment does the job.
